The n+1 Global Impact Internship offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world, socially relevant skills while working on meaningful challenges in education—right from your home.

  • Build practical, portfolio-ready skills

  • Learn industry-relevant tools like AI, Figma, Power BI, R, Canva, and WIX

  • Gain experience that helps you secure future internships and career opportunities

Students can mix and match modules based on their interests.

  • Flexible pricing based on the modules selected

  • Learn only what you want, at your own pace

 

The format allows students, especially those outside India, to engage meaningfully while learning how ideas can translate into action.

Earn Academic Credits​​

  • Most institutions follow these internship credit benchmarks:

  • 60+ hours → Eligible for 1 credit

  • 120+ hours → Eligible for 2 credits

  • 180+ hours → Eligible for 3 credits

Internship Modules
Student Writing Outdoors

Module 1 : Creative Writing

Duration: 5 weeks (100 hours) | Fee: INR 28K $300 | Availability: Summer 2027

Work on storytelling and communication for impact.

​​What you’ll do:

​

  • Create a quarterly newsletter format for n+1

  • Develop strategies to engage donors and volunteers

  • Write blog posts and document stories from the field

  • Contribute to website and social media content

  • Use Canva to design communication material

  • Manage website content using WIX

 

Skills gained: Canva, WIX, Content Writing

Self Study

Module 2 : Social Media Marketing

Duration: 5 weeks (100 hours) | Fee: INR 28K $300| Availability: Summer 2027

Build and execute real digital marketing strategies.

What you’ll do:

​

  • Grow n+1’s presence on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn

  • Create content and campaigns

  • Develop strategies for donor engagement

  • Build communication flows for volunteers and supporters

  • Create event calendar and content 

  • Use tools like Canva and WIX

 

Skills gained: Social Media Marketing, Canva, WIX

Studying

Module 3 : Design Thinking (i4E)

Duration: 1 week (20 hours) | Fee: INR 9k $100 |

Availability: Summer 2026 (Open Now)

Learn to solve real-world problems using design thinking.

What you’ll do:

  • Understand user needs using empathy maps and personas

  • Solve challenges faced by children in rural India

  • Use Figma and AI tools to build high fidelity prototypes

  • Develop a business proposal with SWOT analysis

 

Skills gained: Figma, AI tools, Design Thinking

Module 4 : Learning Module Design

Duration: 8 weeks (160 hours) | Fee: INR 46K $500 | Availability: Summer 2027

Design solutions to improve learning outcomes.

What you’ll do:

  • Create modules for:

    • Number recognition

    • Spoken English improvement

  • Support Community Facilitators (CFs*) with:

    • Resume building for better job prospects

    • Interview preparation

  • Create personalized training videos using AI tools

Module 5: Statistical Analysis of Learning Outcomes

Duration: 8 weeks (160 hours) | Fee: INR 46K $500 | Availability: Summer 2026 (Open Now)

Work with real education data and analytics.

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze 3 years of learning data from n+1 programs

  • Learn statistical concepts (mean, median, regression)

  • Use R for data analysis and visualization

  • Build dashboards and reports

  • Study learning differences across student groups

  • Create Power BI-based training modules

 

Skills gained: R, Power BI, Data Analysis

n+1 Social Foundation is a not-for-profit working with children in underserved communities across rural India, focusing on improving foundational English and Math skills. Through programs like Read-a-story and Solve-with-Bharat (SWB), we combine technology, human connection, and innovation to create meaningful learning outcomes. Under the SWB program, the Community Facilitators (CF), bright high school or college graduates who are working as full-time co-ops in the village schools and are employed by n+1, are making real change on the ground. As an intern, your work contributes to that change.
